An Induction Cooking Competition Promoting Sustainable Cooking & Clean Energy

Teaching student to cookWatt’s Cooking is a hands-on, full-day culinary competition designed for local high school students. The event introduces students to induction cooking, sustainable culinary practices, and career pathways in the food and hospitality industry, all while supporting our 2030 Zero Carbon Plan. 

Student teams compete in a fast-paced cooking challenge using all-electric induction cooktops and locally sourced ingredients. Throughout the day, participants also explore clean energy concepts, food sustainability and culinary and hospitality careers through interactive workshops, campus tours, and partner-led presentations.
