Hubble Traveling Exhibit

Local area students and adults alike can see and interact with a scaled replica of NASA's Hubble Space Telescope at the Aerospace Museum of California in McClellan Park thanks to a recent SMUD Sustainable Communities partnership.

The Hubble Traveling Exhibit is a 2,200 square-foot exhibit that immerses visitors in the magnificence and mystery of the Hubble mission through a multimedia experience.

Our sponsorship will support transportation funding for Title 1 schools and low-income nonprofits as well as free participation in the program, including teacher memberships and continuing education resources. We hope to help bring more than 15,000 students to this exciting, hands-on STEM experience.

Our partnership with the Hubble Traveling Exhibit meets the goals of our Sustainable Communities program to enhance community education and training, which contributes to Sacramento’s future workforce and a prosperous economy.
