SMUD’s Christmas and New Year’s holiday hours
SMUD’s Contact Center will close at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 24, 2024 and will be closed all day Wednesday, December 25, 2024 in observance of Christmas.
Regular business hours will resume on Thursday, December 26, 2024:

SMUD will also be closed on Wednesday, January 1, 2025 in observance of the New Year's holiday and resume regular business hours on Thursday, January 2, 2025.
SMUD's 24-hour electric outage number, 1-888-456-SMUD (7683) will continue operating throughout the holidays. If power goes out, customers should notify SMUD immediately. In the event of an electrical problem, customers should be prepared to give their address, phone number, nearest cross street and a brief description of the problem.
