Lub roj teeb cia ua haujlwm li cas, thiab cov txiaj ntsig zoo li cas? Qhov kev txhawb siab / nyiaj rov qab muaj dab tsi los pab cov neeg siv khoom nruab lub roj teeb cia?

Battery storage systems are a way of storing and releasing electrical energy through a chemical reaction. Battery storage systems store the energy in batteries. An inverter converts the battery's DC energy to AC energy that your home can use. The battery is charged using energy from your solar PV system or the electric grid. The battery is discharged to offset energy use during more expensive peak times of the day. This helps reduce your electric bill or can be used for back-up power in the event of an outage.

SMUD’s My Energy Optimizer Partner+ program is a Virtual Power Plant battery storage program that reduces dependence on traditional fossil fuels and demand on the electric grid by combining thousands of residential solar and energy storage systems to benefit the entire grid.

We provide generous incentives for those customers who choose to partner with us. My Energy Optimizer Partner+ includes a one-time incentive of up to $3,000 for each battery (2 maximum). You'll be paid after the interconnection application received permission to operate and the enrollment onboarding process is completed. Plus, there are ongoing performance payments.
