Kick the tires on an EV at the Sacramento International Auto Show

New SMUD program prepares customers for EV switch

SMUD's EV Ride and Drive team is joining the Sacramento International Auto Show, starting this Friday, to offer EV test drives and educate customers about EV charging, incentives and the latest EV tech.

SMUD can help put customers in the driver’s seat on their journey toward environmentally friendly transportation. As part of our new initiative, SMUD invites customers to contact SMUD first for end-to-end information and support for a seamless transition to sustainable mobility.

During the event, customers can learn about the full potential of electric vehicles and take them for a test drive. Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • get behind the wheel and experience the latest advancements in electric vehicles,
  • learn all about EV charging options and how to save money,
  • engage with EV owners to hear about and learn from their experiences,
  • discover various incentives and rebates that make EVs an affordable and eco-friendly transportation option.

Visitors to the ride and drive can explore and experience an impressive lineup of electric vehicles from Chevy, Ford, Tesla, Nissan, Toyota, VW and more.
