SMUD offices closed for Thanksgiving holiday
Sacramento Municipal Utility District offices will be closed on Thursday and Friday, November 27 and 28, 2025 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Regular business hours will resume on Monday, December 1:

SMUD's 24-hour electric outage number, 1-888-456-SMUD (7683) will continue operating throughout the holiday. If power goes out, customers should notify SMUD immediately. In the event of an electrical problem, customers should be prepared to give their address, phone number, nearest cross street and a brief description of the problem.
