"Meet SMUD" coming to Stockton Boulevard and Arden-Arcade communities
Learn about rebates, careers and how to join Clean PowerCity® movement
SACRAMENTO, Calif. – On March 11 and 13, SMUD will host two "Meet SMUD" events at the Stockton Blvd. Partnership and the Fulton El Camino Recreation & Park District.
Attendees of the Meet SMUD events will learn about SMUD's Residential Assistance Programs and energy-saving opportunities, including the Energy Assistance Program Rate (EAPR), Medical Equipment Discount and Energy Saver Bundles. Resource tables will also provide information on careers in clean energy and zero carbon sectors, small business opportunities through SMUD's SEED program and ways to participate in the Clean PowerCity® movement.

Attendees of the Meet SMUD events will enjoy an interactive experience featuring live induction cooking demonstrations by a local chef, where they can learn about this energy-efficient technology and taste prepared samples. Energy specialists will be available for one-on-one consultations to provide customized advice on reducing utility bills and implementing energy-efficient solutions. The first 100 attendees will receive complimentary refreshments and SMUD swag bags containing energy-saving tools and educational materials.
At a Meet SMUD event held at Florin Square Community Development Corporation in September 2024, attendees learn about money-saving rebates and incentives, career and business opportunities and how they can be part of the Clean PowerCity® movement through personalized energy solutions.
