SMUD, Sacramento State and UC Davis Health celebrate opening of new child development center
Bright Path to Learning helps meet need for child care services
On Tuesday, SMUD, Sacramento State and UC Davis Health will celebrate the ribbon cutting of the Bright Path to Learning Child Development Center in East Sacramento.
SMUD, Sacramento State and UC Davis Health entered into a multi-party agreement in 2019 with the goal of providing quality child development services to their employees and the community at-large based on availability. This spring, Bright Horizons came on board as the operator of the new center, a 17,000-square-foot facility with modern, child-friendly amenities for children ages 6 weeks to 6 years old.
Bright Horizons commits to high-quality early education programs that follow standards set by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Bright Path to Learning includes more than 15,000-square feet of outdoor space where about 200 children can learn and play, helping meet a growing need for excellent child care in the Sacramento region. Bright Path to Learning began operations on November 1.
