Custom Retrofit
Save carbon, energy and money with our Custom Retrofit program.
Incentives are available for both Go Electric and energy efficiency projects in existing non-residential buildings.
Go Electric
We care deeply about the environment and show it in everything we do. We offer incentives for businesses to switch from natural gas equipment to more efficient heat pump and induction technologies.
Ready to get started?
Submit a Grid Capacity Evaluation request. This process is a quick, no-cost way to establish how much capacity is on the transformer. That information helps plan projects designs to avoid construction setbacks. If capacity is limited, we can help with solutions. After you submit a Grid Capacity Evaluation request, please contact us at CustomRetrofit@smud.org or 1-916-732-5095.
