Home energy evaluation
Customers can now receive a free assessment.
In support of our 2030 Zero Carbon initiative, we want to help you save energy and money. Your SMUD Energy Specialist will evaluate your home and provide expert guidance on how to lower your energy usage, extend the life of your home's equipment and save on your bill by learning how much energy each of your appliances uses and the best times to use them. As part of this service, you will:
- Receive a bill history analysis
- Learn which equipment uses the most energy
- Learn how to manage equipment settings for maximum efficiency
- Find out what rebates and programs are best for you
