DEIB, Learning and Sustainable Communities

DEIB, Learning and Sustainable Communities leads programs, initiatives and partnerships that ensure all customers, communities and employees are valued and incorporated in SMUD’s implementation of its core mission and vision. This team expands access to SMUD and the clean energy economy by investing in people, partnerships and regional progress. Through a focus on inclusion, education, community collaboration, workforce development and employee professional development, we unite diverse communities and perspectives with the goal of advancing regional economic vitality that benefits SMUD and the quality of life for all customers in SMUD’s service territory.
