Success stories

We're celebrating the power of our local business community.

Allstar Printing

Our SEED vendor All Star Printing in Citrus Heights used their resources to help other businesses in the community by offering free "We are open" sings. Way to keep our local business economy powering forward!

Universal Custom Display

Our renewable energy and long-term Greenergy partner, Universal Custom Display of Elk Grove, pivoted their retail display production to keep our community safe with essential sneeze guards and hospital bio box protectors.

Bottles of sanitizer in front a sign that says "Believe there is good in the world."

J.J. Pfister Distillery in Rancho Cordova switched production from craft spirits to hand sanitizer for essential workers, including our very own crews. In doing so, J.J. Pfister provided jobs for out-of-work hospitality professionals and together, they produced more than 16,000 gallons of hand sanitizer in just 2 weeks. Shout out to J.J. Pfister for reinventing business at such an important time.

Simmons Community Center

We're shining a spotlight on the Simmons Community Center. They pivoted their focus to provide South Sacramento families, elderly and youth with free hot meals and grocery delivery.

Solomons delicatessen

We're celebrating the power of good in our local business community. Solomon's Delicatessen, in partnership with Sacramento Covered, transformed their full-service restaurant into a community kitchen to feed those in need.

Single mom strong

Thanks to our partner Single Mom Strong, Inc. (SMS) for reinventing their business model and providing FREE child care to essential workers. SMS has implemented strong safety measures and provides kids with a nurturing environment while their parents work the front lines.
