Low-income assistance

The Energy Assistance Program Rate (EAPR) offers our eligible low-income customers a discount of about 30 percent on monthly energy costs.

Qualified customers that participate in EAPR will have discounts of 38% on all electricity usage, with a maximum discount cap of $52 per month. The maximum discount includes the reduction to the system infrastructure fixed charge.

For customers with wells, the cap is increased to $64 per month.

*Households are eligible for the discounted rate if their income doesn’t exceed 200 percent of the federal poverty level. These figures reflect that percentage.
