Official Rules: EnergyHELP Bill Assistance "Nothing Bundt Cakes" Giveaway
General Rules: The name of the promotion governed by these Official Rules is the EnergyHELP Nothing Bundt Cakes Giveaway ("Promotion"). The promotion begins November 4, 2013 and closes on April 30, 2014 at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.
Eligibility: This Promotion is open to all residential Sacramento Municipal Utility District ("SMUD") customers, on a first-come, first-serve basis for customers that enroll in SMUD's EnergyHELP Bill Assistance program with a donation of $3 or more a month, while supplies last. Eligible customers must be eighteen (18) years of age or older.
Indemnity: By signing up for EnergyHELP, each customer agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and hold harmless and indemnify SMUD and each of its directors, officers, employees, or agents, and Entercom Communications Company and its directors, officers, employees, or agents against any and all liability, damages or causes of action (however named or described), with respect to or arising from either the entrant's participation or the receipt or use of the prize awarded in this Promotion.
How to Enter: SMUD customers that enroll in SMUD's EnergyHELP program between November 4, 2013, and April 30, 2014, with a donation level of $3 or more a month are will receive an coupon, as set forth below, while supplies last.
Deadline: Deadline to enroll in SMUD's EnergyHELP program to be eligible is April 30, 2014, or while supplies last.
Incentives: Customers that enroll in EnergyHELP with a donation of $3 or more per month will receive a coupon for a "bundlet" cake, courtesy of Nothing Bundt Cakes, valued at $3.99, while supplies last. Customers that enroll in EnergyHELP with a donation of $5 or more per month will receive a coupon for an 8" bundt cake, courtesy of Nothing Bundt Cakes, valued at $21.00, while supplies last. No substitution, cash equivalent or transfer of incentive is permitted. Incentives are available on a first-come, first-serve basis for customers that enroll in SMUD's EnergyHELP Bill Assistance program, while supplies last.
Incentive Acceptance: All federal state and local laws and regulations apply. All incentives will be mailed to the customer using the billing address SMUD has on record. Failure to accept delivery of the incentive will constitute forfeiture of such incentive. In consideration of being provided the incentive, the eligible customer hereby agrees and consents, without further authorization, compensation or remuneration of any kind, to the use of the his or her name, voice, picture, and/or likeness in any and all advertising, promotions and other publicity conducted by SMUD for the Promotion.
Official Rules: SMUD reserves the right to make rule or Promotion changes without notice at any time. The decision of SMUD in the interpretation of, and compliance with, the Official Rules is final. By participating in this Promotion, entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of SMUD, which are final. Our EnergyHELP program provides qualified low-income customers with immediate financial assistance to keep the electricity on in their homes. EnergyHELP is funded by customers like you who donate as little as $1 a month on their SMUD bill. Altogether, SMUD customers have donated more than $2 million in the last eight years to provide others with the basic necessity of electricity.
You can sign up below to add a monthly tax-deductible contribution to your SMUD bill. You'll see a line item on your monthly bill for the donation amount of your choosing. Your donations are tax-deductible to the maximum amount allowed by law.

How funds are distributed
Your donations are distributed to SMUD customers in need through four charities: The Salvation Army, Sacramento Food Bank & Family Services, Travelers Aid and Folsom Cordova Community Partnership. These organizations were chosen through a competitive bid process and meet SMUD's strict requirements for experience in efficiently serving people in need throughout the Sacramento area.
You select the charity that will distribute the funds you donate.
Qualified recipients may receive assistance of up to $200 a year toward unpaid balances on their SMUD bill.
