Why do we ask for your account number?
Providing your account number allows us to verify that you are a SMUD customer and lets us fill in the request form with your account information, such as name and address. This makes the process much more accurate, quicker and easier for you.
However, if you don't have it handy, you can give us a call or email us to schedule your appliance pick-up. We'll still need to verify that you are an eligible SMUD customer in order to schedule and process your rebate.
