Energy assessment leads to savings for the Boys & Girls Clubs
The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Sacramento inspires and enables all young people, especially those who need help the most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens.
By working closely with their SMUD Strategic Account Advisor Chantel Hoad, they arranged an energy assessment of their Lemon Hill Avenue facility, got tips and recommendations for improved energy-efficiency and brought energy education to their customers − the children − to teach them about why energy conservation is so important.

Bill pay your way
Can your business benefit from the convenience of a predictable monthly bill amount with the flexibility of a due date that fits your schedule? SMUD’s now offering businesses 2 new programs designed to make managing your business a little easier - Bill Pay Your Way Bundle.
Custom Due Date – set your payment due date
Take advantage of the flexibility to select a due date that better matches your bill payment schedule. Simply select the date range you’d like your SMUD payment due and you will receive your bill ahead of your new due date. Your exact due date may vary slightly but it will be within your selected range.
Budget Billing – get a fixed monthly bill
Avoid seasonal spikes in your bill with the convenience of a pre-determined monthly payment. Your new bill amount will be based on an average of your last 12 months of bills or an estimate using the bill data that’s available. Then, we’ll review your bill every 4 months, comparing your actual usage to the usage you’re paying for and adjust if necessary.
You’re eligible if you’re on the standard non-demand rate (GSN_T), you’re not a government agency, you’ve been a SMUD customer for at least 6 months (Budget Billing only) and your business is not a solar customer (Budget Billing only).
