SMUD sponsoring electric vehicle test drives in South Natomas
Test drive EVs, learn about incentives and get free lunch!
SMUD is offering free test drives of plug-in electric vehicles (EV) in partnership with Gardenland Northgate Neighborhood Association at Smythe Elementary school on Saturday, September 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
All participants who drive or take a ride in an EV will receive a free meal. A community softball game with Sacramento Police starts at 10 a.m., and other activities, such as a lowrider car show and face painting, are also planned.
Participants will also learn about EV costs and a range of EV incentives, including SMUD’s discounted EV electricity rate. For more information, visit smud.org/DriveElectric.
