T12 retirement incentives

Reduce your bill with energy efficient lighting

Interior lighting can account for up to 40 percent of your business's electric bill. By replacing T12 fluorescent lamps with higher efficiency T8 lamps and ballasts, you can reduce your lighting load by an estimated minimum of 30 percent.

Let SMUD pay a portion of the costs

SMUD is partnering with participating lighting contractors to bring you energy efficient lighting at reduced prices. To minimize the cost of your interior lighting retrofit, SMUD will pay for a significant portion of the materials by rebating the contractor directly. You'll use less energy and save money on your monthly electric bills.
