SMUD's Metrology Lab offers a local alternative for the calibration and repair of precision instruments.

Calibration and repair is offered for precision instruments in the following categories:

• Pressure

• Vibration

Standards

SMUD's Metrology Laboratory calibrates, diagnoses, and repairs most precision service and test equipment. Work is performed to manufacturers' specifications.

The laboratory is Type III and uses standards traceable to National Institute of Standards Technology (NIST) and follows National Conference of Standards Laboratories (NCSL) procedures. SMUD's calibration laboratory is independently audited and meets or exceeds all ISO9000 requirements.
