Calendar
As a locally owned and locally managed electric service, the Sacramento Municipal Utility District is an integral part of the community it serves.
Primary among our scheduled events are the meetings of our elected Board of Directors. Open to the public, board meetings are held at 6 p.m. on the first Thursday of the month, and at 9 a.m. on the third Thursday of the month. Board committee meetings, also open to the public, are held in the days before the board meeting. You'll find a full schedule for these events here in our calendar section.
SMUD also offers a full range of classes and seminars geared to help both commercial and residential customers learn more about the efficient use of electricity through programs managed by the District's Energy and Technology Center. Other community-oriented events include classes on planting and caring for energy-conserving shade trees. For those who are interested in picking up one of SMUD's used vehicles or other commercial equipment, we have regularly scheduled auctions.
Our Customer Service Center is also home to an art gallery, hosting an ever-changing array of works by Sacramento-area artists.
