SMUD's Reference Room is a work space for our customers needing specialized, technical information. Materials housed in the Reference Room include:
- Professional publications, trade magazines, equipment catalogs
- Computers with Internet links to other technical information sources, such as the California Energy Commission library, other energy centers, national research labs and universities.
- Computer-based lighting simulation programs, HVAC design programs, and energy compliance software for design and application
- Videocassette players providing product demonstrations, case studies of electrotechnologies, and courses in building science.
We encourage you to phone or e-mail a staff member for more information on available resources, or to make an appointment to use the library. The number is 916-732-6738.
The Reference Room is located on the 2nd floor of SMUD's Customer Services Building at 6301 S Street, Sacramento.
