Customized incentives for motors greater than 200 horsepower and control systems

Maximum incentive: 30 percent of project cost OR $50,000 per account, whichever is less.

• Above 200 hp
• Incentive = $.10/kWh or $200 kW saved for one year.

Motors under 200 HP

SMUD pays energy efficiency incentives directly to manufacturers and distributors to encourage warehouse stocking and marketing of qualifying energy efficient motors (up to 200 hp). This incentive strategy is designed to make high efficiency motors more available and cost effective for SMUD customers.

Distributor Rebate Program

Incentives are offered to distributors and manufacturers on motors up to 200 horsepower. For more information, call (916) 732-5415.
