The following are SMUD's rules and regulations for electric service accounts. These rules and regulations reflect the Jan. 1, 2008 rate action.

The District supplies electric service in most of Sacramento County and in a portion of Placer County.

Establishment of credit and deposits

After making proper application for electric service, it will be necessary for applicant to establish his credit in accordance with District's Rule and Regulation 6.
